What documents do I need to apply to a UK university?

You’ll typically need:

Can I apply if I don’t have IELTS?

What is CAS and why is it important?

CAS (Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies) is an electronic document issued by your university. You need it to apply for your student visa.

How much bank balance is needed for the UK student visa?

You must show that you have enough funds to cover:

  • 9 months’ living expenses (around £9,207 for outside London)

  • Outstanding tuition fees
    Funds must be held for at least 28 consecutive days in a recognized bank account.

Can I work during my studies in the UK?

Yes. As a student visa holder, you can work up to 20 hours per week during term time and full-time during holidays.
